You can find any type of machine on pump tracks such as BMXs, dirt bikes, freestyle scooters, inline skates ... and why not electric scooters? Due to their size, they even position themselves perfectly between BMX and inline skates. We just had to find the machine that is suitable enough for the right changes.
Why the Dualtron New as basis ?
We had to find a machine that was as robust as possible but not too heavy and with a fairly high ground clearance. affordable in price to carry out repairs in the event of a fall, with sufficient power and of course where the adjustments are easy to make.
For all these reasons, We chose the Dualtron New as basis for our Pumptrack edition by My Mobelity. The first advantage is the robustness of the chassis: the rear cartridge suspension module and solid arms have proven their worth within reasonable limits. The big advantage in our eyes was the fact that we have suspensions without springs but by torsion, to avoid super-fast wear and a dangerous rebound on a Pump Track. The combination of the 60V battery, controller and 900W motors provides sufficient momentum when power is required.
To prevent the generation of too many extra costs for your standard Dualtron NEW, we have added the basic necessities:
-A PRO Tharsis Rise 800mm carbon handlebar for weight gain and maximum maneuverability (all supported by a stem adapter and an MTB stem). This configuration provides a stack of 87 cm (distance steering / deck) for the lowest possible center of gravity (possibility to reduce the "stack" to 83 cm). The range is increased forwards by 5 cm.
- XTECH Hybrid Calipers with a bit more bite than the standard brakes. The speed on a pump track is generally not higher than 35 km / h, our choice is XTECH Hybrid calipers (hydraulic caliper by mechanical action), which brakes correctly.
- An extension from the deck to the rear wheel thanks to a footrest covered with skateboard grip for perfect support.
- Decoupling of the brake sensors from the controller for control and perfect brake / power delivery
